Summer camps in Tuscany and Umbria
How nice is to travel with kids? And how many times it happens to think it’s a way too much to tour when the Italian weather heats.
Did you ever think how could it be nice to let your son meet new local friends and learn a new language?
An answer to all this questions is to enroll your child in a summer camp, even only for a single day.
We have several options for Summer camps in Tuscany and Umbria.
1) La Scatola Magica, the Magic Box in English is a very good association of mothers who are organizing great kids activities each summer. Location: Chiusi, Siena, Tuscany.
They also organize weekly visit to several sports associations like basket, soccer, and swimming lessons. Also they invite artists, scientists to daily kids labs.

You can find them also in winter for a nice baby parking and sometimes they organize pizza party for kids up to 11.00 PM so that you can enjoy a romantic dinner out!

2) The fish camp in Paciano, they have a teacher that speaks English.
My daughter Stella goes every year at least for a week. The camp is only in the morning and without lunch.

2 ) The San Giobbe basket Camp in Chiusi, organized by the Chiusi bulls. They are on “Serie A2 Old Wild West” (Umana Chiusi).
Also this is a very good summer camp in Tuscany. Stella did it this year for the first time and we are already booking for the next year and for the weekly classes all this winter!

Camps are weekly from Monday to Friday and and from 8.30/9.00 AM to 5.00/5.30 PM.
Cost is around 100 euro per week including lunches.

4) Family cooking classes with me! I also organize family cooking classes. On request we can also have a baby sitter during the class if you have younger kids that may not be able to follow all the cooking class. All family classes should be booked in advance. https://www.slowcookingschool.com/
Summer activities in tuscany and umbria for kids
Have fun with your family at our family cooking classes! My locations are in Paciano, Chiusi, Siena or Rome.
We’ll cook and play in the garden or terrace and learn a lot about the Italian pastas and Culture.
5) At Parco delle Piscine in Sarteano there is a pool with slides and on request there is a baby club that works all day and that each day at 7.00 PM does the baby dance! At this pool there is also a nice bar that also serves pizzas! We go often and the adults pool is separate by the kids one!
6) Also to check is Fantasy Zone in Sarteano
They also do Yoga classes for kids. Camps are all summer and weekly, Monday to Friday.
